WWE Wants To Bring Braun Strowman Back For Less Money

Before Braun Strowman was shockingly released back in June, he was making about 1.2 million per year with the WWE.

That apparently was too much for WWE to handle as he was released due to ongoing budget cuts.

However, after the word of recently AEW signings such as Andrade, Malakai Black, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk the company became interested in bringing Strowman back. The feeling being of course that WWE didn’t want AEW to sign yet another larger name.

We previously reported at The Ringside Roster that AEW was indeed interested in bringing in Strowman, after some praise from Mark Henry.

WWE would like to bring Strowman back for less money than he was previously making. The company reportedly also believes they will have to find new ways to use him if he comes back as he’s no longer the biggest guy in the locker room compared to someone like Omos. Thus his “Monster Among Men” label no longer works.

Braun Strowman is booked for an indie show in Qatar this February and he’s making a lot of money to do it, so we’ll have to see what happens after that.

Would you like to see Braun Strowman back in the WWE or would you rather see him go elsewhere? Let us know in the comments.
