Bray Wyatt was released from WWE today which sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling community. This was due to budget cuts, and he got the news from John Laurinatis. Braun Strowman who was released back in June from WWE as part of the ongoing budget cuts is certainly familiar with the situation as well.
We previously reported at The Ringside Roster that Wyatt was also upset with WWE creative prior to his release over several failed attempts to bring him back to TV since WrestleMania 37. In addition, the treatment of The Fiend character by the company made him grow very protective of it as he was constantly built up and then then torn down.
Both Wyatt and Strowman were in the Wyatt Family together at one time and became close friends behind the scenes. Strowman is actually the godfather to Wyatt’s child as well.
Strowman recently took to social media to comment on the situation and he seems pretty excited about the possibility of joining Wyatt in the ring once again.
