The following are the AEW Dynamite Results 9/1/21

Santana and Ortiz defeats FTR

CM Punk comes to the ring to a roaring ovation from the crowd.

CM Punk says he could listen to his entrance music and feel the love from the crowd over and over again. Punk says at All Out things could end for him as fast as it began when he faces Darby Allin. Punk gets emotional but then gets attacked by 2point0.

Darby Allin and Sting make the save and they beat down 2point0 with CM Punk. Punk then hits the GTS! It’s been too damn long since we’ve seen that!

Punk and Allin the face off and Sting separates them. Sting says he always respected Punk and wanted to share the ring with him and now he has. He says at All Out he’s going to stay in the back and watch Punk and Allin battle and let the better man win.

MJF is interviewed by Tony Schiavone. He tells Chris Jericho that he’s had an amazing career and he has big shoes to fill, but he’ll be better than Jericho ever was when he retires him. He tells Jericho he’s an addict and he needs to be in the spotlight and on September 5th at All Out he’s going to end one of the greatest careers in wrestling.

Orange Cassidy defeats Jack Evans. After the match Matt Hardy and HFO attacks Cassidy, but Jurassic Express makes the save.

Jim Ross interviews Chris Jericho. He says 22 years ago in the All State Arena he started his career when he was hired by Jim Ross. Ross asks why he picked the stipulation against MJF where he has to retire if he loses.

Jericho calls MJF a piece of s*** but says that he’s damn good too. Jericho says he’s lost to MJF three times and he will do anything to get a victory over him.

Jericho says he can’t live with not beating MJF and being in AEW without doing it. He says if something happens and he loses in Chicago at All Out where it all began for him he’ll thank the fans and do commentary from now on. However, he says that’s not going to happen because MJF doesn’t have what it takes to get the job done.

Will Hobbs defeats Brian Cage. During the match Ricky Starks hits Cage with the FTW belt allowing Hobbs to pick up the win.

QT Marshall comes to the ring with The Factory and dares Paul Wight to come to the ring. He does and he takes everyone out sending Marshall running.

The Gun Club then runs out to make the save, but turns on Wight hitting him with a chair.

Tay Conti defeats Penelope Ford. After the match Ford and Bunny attack Conti , but Anna Jay returns to make the save!

It’s announced that Jay will be in the All Out Casino Battle Royal.

The Elite defeats The Lucha Bros and Jurassic Express. After the match Kenny Omega comes out with his group and beats down Lucha Bros and Jurassic Express until Christian makes the save. He gets beaten down and the cage is lowered from above the ring. The lock room tries to run out, but they can’t get in.
