With the world currently in the middle of a pandemic, businesses have had to change a lot of things up. One of the biggest changes for WWE is the fact that they’re not currently touring. All shows such as RAW and SmackDown are taking place in the WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center as well as the Capital Wrestling Center for NXT for the time being until at least December. Then they’ll have to find a new home at least for RAW and SmackDown due scheduling conflicts with the Amway Center. In addition to weekly shows like RAW, SmackDown and NXT, the company is use to running live events. Fans are eager to get back into shows, and WWE is excited to get back on the road once things are deemed safe. However, it looks like things are going to be very different when the time comes.
We‘ve learned at The Ringside Roster, that WWE has reportedly informed some Superstars that even when the pandemic is over they have no plans to resume regular live shows. Special events such as going to MSG may be possible though. It seems that live events are generally going to be a thing of the past at least for WWE. While that may be upsetting for some fans, it will also allow more time off for the talent, which many have been asking for due to the company’s grueling schedule.
