WWE SmackDown Results 8/27/21

The following are the WWE SmackDown Results 8/27/21

Becky Lynch kicks off SmackDown. She says she’s back on top and she missed the fans. She says giving up her belt and leaving was the hardest thing she ever did, but she’s back and more deadly than ever.

Becky says if anyone thinks she should be sorry she’s not. She says she was prepared and ready and now she’s champion once again.  Bianca Belair then comes out.

She says she’s worked too long and too hard for Lynch to walk back in and erase all that in 26 seconds. She then challenges Becky to a rematch tonight for the title. Zelina Vega then interrupts.

She says nobody wants to see that match again and says she wants to challenge for the title. Carmella then comes out.

She says she should be the one to challenge Becky Lynch before being interrupted by Liv Morgan.

Morgan says that she’s the contender Becky is looking for and she’s right here.

Bianca Belair then says she’s the only challenger, but Becky Lynch doesn’t accept and walks away.

 

Bianca Belair defeats Liv Morgan, Carmella and Zelina Vega in a #1 contender match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Paul Heyman interviewed backstage and asked where he stands with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Heyman says he stands behind and a little to the side of Roman Reigns. He then tries to get into Reigns locker room, but is locked out.

The locker room door finally opens and The Usos address Heyman. They ask about his allegiance to the Tribal Chief and if Heyman knew Brock Lesnar would be at SummerSlam. Heyman says no, but  and their clearly suspicious. Heyman says he wouldn’t jeopardize everything they’ve built, but they don’t believe him.

Cesaro defeats Chad Gable by DQ. Otis attacks Cesaro during the match.

Baron Corbin shows up to SmackDown in a Bentley and he’s ‘Happy Corbin’ now because his luck finally changed. Corbin talks about how he won big at the casinos recently and now he has tons of money. He says the best part is he did it all on his own.

He calls out Big E to the ring and tries to buy his Money In The Bank briefcase for $100,000. Big E turns him down and says that if he doesn’t leave he’ll beat the Bricks off of him.

Roman Reigns arrives to SmackDown and isn’t happy about having to open his own door.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogz defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Naomi goes to Sonya Deville’s office and wants a match. Deville won’t even give her the time of day.

Sami Zayn defeats Dominick Mysterio. After the match Dominick walks away upset.

The Bloodline comes to the ring accompanied by Paul Heyman. They are quickly interrupted by Finn Balor. Balor says he wants a shot at the title and he doesn’t care if Brock Lesnar is back. He then hits Reigns and brawls with The Usos. The Street Profits then make the save and Reigns runs to the back.
