The landscape of WWE is currently changing in a big way. The company just had some big additions to SmackDown last week from NXT and they just had their last show in the ThunderDome this week on RAW as they head back on the road.
Things are really starting to shake up as WWE gets ready to bring back live crowds and starts to build towards SummerSlam and the Draft, which was set to take place at from August 30th to September 3rd.
However, it appears we’ll now have to wait a little longer for the next draft. According to Andrew Zarian, of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, October 4th is now a new date for the 2021 WWE Draft.
A second date was not issued, but October 8th appears to be the most likely date.
We’ll have to see what happens, but this should give the company more time to get adjusted to being on the road again and deciding which superstars to move up or move around.
