WWE released a bunch of superstars yesterday from NXT, but one name that was not on the list was Velveteen Dream, despite previous allegations against him in the past and several other issues. However, it appears that he’s now on his way out the door…
According to PW Insider, Velveteen Dream has been released by WWE. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise and seemed like only a matter of time as he hasn’t been seen on television since losing to Adam Cole on NXT at “A Very Gargano Christmas” in December 2020.
Dream hadn’t been in the WWE Performance Center in months before finally showing up recently.
Now it appears the WWE career of the former Tough Enough competitor Patrick Clark has come to and end. It’a an unfortunate situation as Dream had tons of talent, but apparently had too many other issues.
We’ll have to see where he turns up next and if any other superstars are released as well but we’ll keep you updated on things here at The Ringside Roster.
What do you think of Dream’ release? Let us know in the comments.
