Tonight on Smackdown Live, during the WWE Superstar Shake-Up, we saw a number of big acquisitions for the blue brand. Names like Finn Balor, Kairi Sane, Buddy Murphy, and Ember Moon. Without a doubt though the biggest name was that of “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns.
Reigns interrupted Elias, who Vince McMahon had just introduced as SmackDown’s biggest acquisition ever. Reigns quickly disregarded both Elias and Vince McMahon to stand tall in the ring.
With Smackdown now being his yard, there should be a lot of great new feuds for Reigns on the blue brand and it should give him a fresh start as well. It’s most likely only a matter of time until we see Reigns face off with Kofi Kingston.
We reported awhile back that Kingston was scheduled to continue his WWE Championship reign till around Summerslam which could set the two up for a meeting at the biggest party of the summer. It’s surely one of the most anticipated matchups now with Reigns on the show and one fans will be looking forward to.
One thing is for sure, however, and that’s now that Roman Reigns is on SmackDown it is his yard.
