Those that watched NXT: New Years Evil were treated to a brutal match between Rhea Ripley, and Raquel Gonzalez. Literally the only thing not used in the match was the kitchen sink as the two brawled all over the arena. Ultimately it was Gonzalez who came out on top after a power bomb through the stage.
Although NXT’s resident Nightmare didn’t pull out the victory big things are still on the way soon. We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that Ripley is finally set to be called up to the main roster. Last night was a way to write her off the show. It’s possible there may be a final farewell, but word is she’s headed to RAW or SmackDown. With the Royal Rumble coming up soon it makes lots of sense.
We can’t wait to see Ripley bring her brand of brutality to the main roster.
