NXT Star Damian Priest is set to battle Karrion Kross tonight at NXT: New Years Evil. The match should be a great one as the two talented big men square off.
However, this could also be the last time we’ll see the Archer of Infamy on the black and gold brand. We’ve been told at The Ringside Roster that Priest will be getting his big farewell tonight as he heads to the main roster shortly.
We reported earlier today that a top NXT star was set to debut on the last episode of SmackDown, and get involved in the Roman Reigns/Jey Uso and Kevin Owens segment before it was changed last minute. At the time it wasn’t noted who the individual was.
We have now learned that Damian Priest was who was set to be called up. Word is that WWE simply delayed things and it still in the works. The fact that the company was considering him for such a big angle certainly is a good sign for Priest and his fortunes on the main roster.
We personally can’t wait to see what is in store for man who loves the nightlife.
