Back in the mid 2000’s WWE created a group of all male cheerleaders known as The Spirit Squad. It would eventually produce stars such as Dolph Ziggler however another name stood out as well. Kenny the leader of the group who’s real name is Ken Doane had a lot of raw talent and athletic ability.
Unfortunately after a few years Doane was released, but it’s hard to forget Vince McMahon’s personal cheering section. Especially when it comes to the feud they had with DX (who doesn’t love a good sliming).
Since that time Doane has worked various different promotions and independent circuits however today he announced that he is officially hanging up his boots.
I’ve decided to retire from in ring wrestling. When I started at 13 I thought I’d retire at 40. But smart investments overtime have allowed me to be done now. I’m in my prime, and that will go towards my family and being a father. Thanks to the fans who stuck by me. 🤟
