During a recent Twitch stream, AJ Styles was asked if he wants a match against Triple H.
The two have teamed together in the past, but have never faced off. The Phenomenal One Vs The Game is certainly a dream match that fans would love to see.
“Should I throw it out there and send it out there that I’d be his last match. I would love to do that. I’ll let him know I’d do that with him. Him and I have been in the same ring together but we were on the same team. It was when we were in Japan. It was basically The O.C. and Triple H; that was fun.”
Triple H recently spoke about his in-ring career and noted that he is pretty much retired in the ring. He obviously has a lot of responsibilities in the company and keeps very busy.
However, he did say that if there is the right match or situation he wouldn’t hesitate to step back in between the ropes. AJ Styles Vs Triple H is a marquee match up and you would think it would fall under that category.
We’ll have to see if it ever happens, but it would surely be a great matchup.
