Last week Paul Wight formerly know as The Big Show in WWE debuted in AEW.
If that wasn’t surprising enough after his long standing career with WWE he also teased a “huge surprise“ star set to debut at the upcoming AEW Revolution PPV. Wight stated that it was a Hall Of Fame worthy name as well. Tony Khan also went out of his way to hype things up during the AEW Dynamite post media conference saying he was fired up about one of his all-time favorite stars coming to the company. This of course has had fans buzzing every since. Names till Kurt Angle, RVD, Bully Ray and others have been thrown out there as well as long shots like Brock Lesnar, John Cena and CM Punk.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that most of the AEW roster has actually been told who the mystery star is debuting tonight. The talent is being trusted with the information and the signing is said to be a surprise that’s shocking in a good way.
We’ll find out exactly who it is soon enough, but it sounds like most fans are certainly going to be pleased.
