Last night on AEW Dynamite, NJPW Star KENTA made a huge impact when he attacked Jon Moxley.

This is obviously huge news since he’s from another big promotion. AEW & NJPW have been in talks for months about a working relationship. Things got complicated due to the current pandemic, but it appears everything finally got worked out between the two sides. Word is that a working relationship is now in place.

Jon Moxley is currently set to face KENTA at NJPW “New Beginning“ on February 26th. However, they could now be in a match sooner than that. After AEW Dynamite last night Kenny Omega issued a challenge during an AEW Exclusive.

“You pass this along to Tony Khan. You want me to show up here every week and risk my life, Tony? Lance Archer, I saw what you did this week, too. Butting your nose in someone’s business that you don’t belong in. How about this? Next week, I’ll smooth things over with my newly found friend, KENTA, and if you got the guts, Tony — make it a tag match. In fact, well, he’s not contracted by this company, so, I can’t see how you could sanction this. Make this Lights Out, Falls Count Anywhere, something in my wheelhouse.”

We’ll have to see what happens, but a match between Kenny Omega & KENTA Vs Jon Moxley and Lance Archer appears to be the plan for next week on AEW Dynamite.

This new relationship between two of the biggest wrestling companies in the world is sure to bring us amazing matches going forward, and get fans excited and rightfully so!
