The following are the WWE SmackDown Results 8/20/21

Edge kicks off SmackDown. He talks about Seth Rollins and the fact that he’s aware how dangerous he is. He says the thing about it is that Rollins has now pushed him too far, where he not only has to beat Rollins, but he has to destroy him. Edge says at SummerSlam he’s going to burn Rollins down.

Jey Uso defeats Rey Mysterio. During the match Dominick tries to interfere and help Rey get the win, but the referee sees and is about to eject him before Jimmy attacks. Jey takes advantage of things and hits the big splash for the win.

Baron Corbin defeats Kevin Owens by DQ. During the match Big E attacks Corbin and tries to get his briefcase back, but Corbin gets away with it.

Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox defeat Natalya and Tamina.

Seth Rollins comes out to the ring and when the fans chant for Edge, Rollins goes ballistic. He says they already had Edge and now they have him. Rollins tells Edge if he can’t find that darkness he used to have he will never get on his level.

The lights then go out and the iconic music of The Brood hits! Edge appears on the screen and says that it’s time for a blood bath! He soaks Seth Rollins who’s standing in the ring. That was exciting to type. What a cool moment. Brood Edge is back!

Otis defeats Montez Ford.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogz defeat Apollo Crews and General Azeez.

Bianca Belair defeats Zelina Vega and Carmella.

Roman Reigns and John Cena come out for their final encounter before their match at SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say nobody can beat the new Roman Reigns and nobody has. Cena says he’s back to take the Universal Championship and embarrass Reigns in the process and bring him back to earth.

Reigns says he wants to raise the stakes since they’ll be in Vegas and if he doesn’t beat Cena he’ll leave the WWE.
