Tom Phillips has been released from WWE in the latest casualty of budget cuts.
Phillips was previously an announcer on RAW before the company hired Adnan Virk to replace him. Virk is already gone from WWE after being released recently and Jimmy Smith will be replacing him starting next week on RAW.

Phillips was hired by WWE back in the 2012. Some fans were even calling for his return to RAW commentary since Virk’s release, but obviously that won’t be happening.
