At WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 21st Roman Reigns will do battle with his biggest threat to the Universal Championship yet, Brock Lesnar.
When Brock Lesnar returned at SummerSlam he made his intentions clear as he faced off in the ring with the Tribal Chief. Since that time he’s stopped at nothing to make life miserable for Reigns and The Bloodline. What makes things even more interesting though is that Paul Heyman the longtime advocate of Lesnar is now in the corner of Reigns.
Could that be set to change? Will Heyman screw over Reigns and reunite with Lesnar? Will Heyman be drawn back to Lesnar if he can capture the Universal Championship? These are all questions that will be answered at some point, but it might not all happen at Crown Jewel.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE is ideally looking to draw out the feud between Reigns and Lesnar for awhile, possibly into next year. Whatever happens at Crown Jewel will likely just be the beginning of things with a rematch taking place at another time. If The Rock isn’t set to go at WrestleMania 38 we could very well see the big Reigns Vs Lesnar rematch take place there.
