Moose is one of the top talents in Impact Wrestling, and arguably all of pro wrestling in general.
In the past year or so especially, he’s carved a special role for himself in the pro wrestling business putting on memorable matches, getting himself in tremendous shape and elevating Impact Wrestling to new heights.
The former TNA Heavyweight Champion made a big splash when he chose to re-sign with the company in June, rather take his talents elsewhere, which was highly expected.
It appears that another company had an especially big interest in signing him to a deal though, and fully planned to do so until Impact offered an even bigger deal to keep him around.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE had big plans to sign Moose to a deal that would have seen him go to the main roster. Impact gave him a substantial increase in pay though, and was able to get him re-signed.
It’s not surprising that there was such a big interest from WWE, given the star quality that he posses and the company search for big names for the current roster.
Moose will remain in Impact Wrestling however and look to win the title which has alluded him so far, the Impact Wrestling World Championship.
Are you happy to see him stay in Impact Wrestling or do you think he should have went to WWE? Let us know in the comments.
