WWE is reportedly disappointed with NXT 2.0 so far in its first few months. The response so far from fans…is simply not what the company was hoping for to be blunt.

We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE is said to be disappointed with NXT 2.0 in its first 4 months. The thought was that more fans would quickly gravitate towards the newer stars quicker than they have. This has caused a lot of confusion internally.

It just hasn’t happened just yet so far, although it’s still early and these things take time. Especially with how beloved the black and gold brand was.

NXT was completely revamped back in September. As part of a new youth initiative stars like Toxic Attraction, Carmello Hayes, Bron Breakker, and countless others were introduced.

WWE has also released figures such as William Regal and Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James, who were an integral part of a team assembled by Triple H over the past few years. Triple H’s role remains unclear following his September 2021 hospitalisation due to a “cardiac event.”

However it’s been clear that the company has been trying to go a very different direction from the NXT he built. Thus far it’s been a struggle, but WWE is clearly hoping in due time fans will embrace NXT 2.0.
