WWE NXT Results 5/25/21

The following are the WWE NXT Results 5/25/21

  • Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart defeat Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. After the match, Raquel Gonzalez attacks Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart.
  • Hit Row says nobody is safe in NXT and every division better watch out.
  • Mercedes Martinez defeats Zayda Ramier. After the match, the lights go out and when they come back on she’s been marked by Tian Shaw.
  • Cameron Grimes and Ted DiBiase come out for the Million Dollar face-off. Cameron Grimes asks why Ted DiBiase keeps showing up and embarrassing him. He says he looks up to DiBiase because he learned he can treat people badly as long as he has money.
    • Grimes says maybe you should never meet your idols. DiBiase says maybe he reason he did what he did is because he sees himself in Grimes. He says he’s looking for that one special person who can carry on things for the Million Dollar Man.
    • LA Knight interrupts and he says he sees an opportunity. He says search no more because he’s the guy to take things over and he didn’t just strike it rich with virtual money, he’s walking talking gold. Grimes gets upset, but DiBiase says to let him talk. Knight says with DiBiase by his side he can reach new heights. Dibiase says Knight is impressive and he’ll probably be a megastar in WWE.
    • He says he already has the Million Dollar body and they could have something special. Grimes then tries to kick Knight out of the ring and gets hit with the snapmire driver. DiBiase then stands over Grimes and tells him he’ll never get it and he walks out with Knight.

  • Franky Monet defeats Cora Jade

  • Indi Hartwell is shown running around backstage looking for Dexter. She interrupts the taping of EveRise. When she asks if they have seen Dexter, they show how offended they are with her lack of concern for their show by saying that she should “take a swing at them.”
    • Drake Maverick comes to protect her from the members of EveRise and to console her. When she asks if he has seen Dexter, he points to a room where he last saw him. When she enters, she sees Dexter’s artwork covering the wall and demonstrating how heartbroken he is ever since Indi Hartwell called him a loser. Indi looks devastated and realizes how bad her words affected Dexter. She is still unsuccessful at locating Dexter.  
  • Bronson Reed comes out and says his journey was 14 years in the making. He says he was told no a lot of times, but he never listened. Reed says anyone in the locker room that wants to take the NXT North American Championship can try, but they have a Colossal mountain to climb.
    • Legado Del Fantasma interrupts and Santos Escobar says he’s the Emperor Of Lucha Libre. Escobar says he wants the North American Championship and that Reed’s celebration is over.
    • Legado Del Fantasma tries to attack Reed, but MSK comes out and makes the save.
  • William Regal announces that next week Kyle O’Reilly, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne will face off to decide the #1 Contender to the NXT Championship. The winner will face the NXT Champion at NXT: TakeOver In Your House.
  • WWE announces that MSK will face Legado Del Fantasma next week for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Who do you think will win? 
  • Karrion Kross defeats Finn Balor to retain the NXT Championship.
