WWE Considering Big Move For Drew McIntyre To SmackDown

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been a huge part of the very foundation that is WWE RAW for the last few years, carrying the red brand on his shoulders at times. Now it appears that he could be in line for a big change heading over to SmackDown.

McIntyre recently failed to defeat Bobby Lashley at Hell In A Cell, which was his last opportunity at the WWE Championship as long as The Almighty is holding the title.

It was a tough loss for McIntyre, but the fortunes of The Scottish Warrior could be changing soon.

We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE is currently discussing moving Drew McIntyre to the blue brand of SmackDown during the WWE Draft in September. The thought to this is essentially that it will be something fresh for McIntyre while giving Roman Reigns a different opponent. Reigns is expected to continue as The Tribal Chief on SmackDown.
