WWE banned their Superstars from third party accounts such as Twitch and Cameo a few months back.

Now the company is taking things a step further. We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE is now issuing violations for posts or tweets involving third party interactions such as naming a business, individual or brand. The violations vary and come in three phases. First a warning will be issued then a fine followed by a suspension. WWE has a clause in their accounts that claims exclusive ownership of a Superstars likeness.

WWE is very serious when it comes to Superstar likeness, but this move is certainly bound to upset some. We’ll have to see how Superstars react to the latest set of rules.
