WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns was recently pulled from two separate live shows for unknown reasons as the company deals with an on-going COVID-19 outbreak. How will that impact WWE Day 1?
Whether it’s related to that or not remains to be seen however Roman Reigns is arguably the top star in the company right now and has a big match coming up with Brock Lesnar at WWE Day 1 which he’ll be needed for. If Reigns were to miss the show somehow it could have some huge implications that reach as far as WrestleMania 38.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that internally it was noted that Reigns, Lesnar and Heyman are a part of WWE Day 1 as planned as it will directly effect how things play out at WrestleMania 38.
We previously reported that Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar were scheduled to work a long program together likely culminating at WrestleMania 38, so things appear to line up here.
Hopefully WWE Day 1 goes off as planned, but with a few short days till the event we’ll have to see what happens.
