This past week on SmackDown Sir Kofi Kingston and King Woods were left laying by The Bloodline at the end of the show.
That segment was a late change of plans by WWE although the reason for the change was unknown at the time.
Now it appears we have our answer. WWE has confirmed that Kofi Kingston had suffered an MCL sprain, which will likely keep him out of action for awhile so they had to find a way to write him off of TV.

Kofi Kingston notably wasn’t included in the Survivor Series team either and we now know why.
We’ll have to see when Kofi can return to the ring, but we’ll keep monitoring the situation.
