WWE Champion Drew McIntyre Tests Positive For COVID-19, Placed In Quarantine

Drew McIntyre recently had a confrontation with WWE Legend Goldberg on RAW, which will seemingly lead to a battle between the two at the upcoming Royal Rumble event.

However, things may have just gotten more difficult when it comes to that match. WWE announced today that Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19, and has been placed in a 14 day quarantine. With the Rumble taking place on January 31st the company still has some time, but if McIntyre can’t go WWE will have to come up with a backup plan.

We’ll have to see what happens, but we at The Ringside Roster wish Drew McIntyre a speedy recovery.
