As we saw on RAW last night Kurt Angle took on and defeated WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe. Some were wondering why Joe was on RAW as he is a SmackDown Superstar.
This is because Angle is being allowed to pick all of his final opponents such as Gable,Crews and Joe. The only one Angle was not allowed to pick was his WrestleMania opponent Baron Corbin which was decided upon by WWE.
