TRR Exclusive: Update On NXT ThunderDome & How It Works

At NXT TakeOver 31 we saw the debut of the new Capital Wrestling Center a revamped version of the WWE Performance Center. We also saw the debut of the NXT ThunderDome with screens placed all over the arena displaying fans much like RAW and SmackDown. This confused a lot of people as there were no signups for this unlike other shows. Some simply assumed that friends and family of WWE were part of the experience.

We now have some new information to share at TRR that should help with things.

We’ve had several readers write in and inform us that their videos from previous ThunderDome’s they’ve been in are being reused for NXT with no mention from anyone of of being live.

One reader wrote: “They just used my SmackDown ThunderDome video on NXT..”

It appears that the NXT ThunderDome is nothing more than a loop of videos. We’ll have to see if that changes and WWE starts allowing fans to sign up however it explains a lot currently.

Fans have been clamoring for NXT to be a part of the ThunderDome experience so we can only hope WWE makes it happen.
