The Undertaker’s Legendary WWE career came to an end in 2020 after over 30 years. The Deadman’s retirement still hits fans hard and rightfully so. It wasn’t any easy decision for him by any means, but it apparently got to the point that he felt like a burden to those in the company.

He recently caught up with The Joe Rogan Experience to discuss things:

“I was looking for that one match where I could say: motherf*ckers, I still got it, I’m out. There were lots of conversations. There were people I talked to along the way through my career where I said, ‘look if I get to a point where my skills have diminished and I can’t recognize it or at least bring the conversation up.’ It got to the point where nobody wants to have that conversation, I put a big burden on people. They just couldn’t do it.”

The Undertaker is currently on a WWE Legends deal and will be a part of the WWE for years to come. Around this time of year fans always begin to wonder if we could see him pop up at WrestleMania or even have a match. Although, he’s retired we know in wrestling that anything can happen. Either way we can’t wait to see him on WWE TV again whenever that happens.
