According to the Dirty Sheets, WWE officials pitched a plan that would’ve seen WWE Hall of Famer, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin being a part of Elias’ segment at WrestleMania 35, but Austin has turned it down.
WWE wanted to go back to Austin’s signing days from 2001 and have him do something with a Guitar during Elias’ segment. This segment would’ve also involved WWE Hall of Famers Jeff Jarrett, Road Dogg & Honky Tonk Man.
However, Austin wasn’t impressed by the plan and turned it down.
