With the news earlier today that Bayley was going to be out of action for at least 9 months due to suffering an injury while training, WWE is now especially looking at NXT for big ways to up their already thin main roster.
According to PWInsider two big names from NXT are set to appear on SmackDown tonight to take on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Those talents are Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox.
This is definitely an interesting choice however with making the two team up upon their debut. Blackheart has been teaming with Ember Moon for some time now on NXT and Tegan Nox just returned as the superstar behind the charging vignettes at the Great American Bash.
We’ll have to see how things turn out, but it’s certainly an unexpected turn of events.
