Former Lucha Underground Star, Marty “The Moth” Martinez, is making his debut tonight on AEW Dark.
Over the last few days, Martin Casaus, AKA Marty “The Moth” Martinez, has been hinting to fans on social media about a potential signing with AEW (you can read more about it here).
After having suffered from a spinal injury 2 years ago, it looked like there was a slim chance that this superstar would ever return back into the world of pro wrestling. According to Casaus, even his doctors told him that he would never wrestle again. It looks like he had a few tricks up his sleeve because not only did he recover and in the best shape of his life, but he is cleared to wrestle! Casaus said it best when he took it to Twitter and wrote, “Don’t you ever let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do.”
AEW confirmed Casaus’ debut tonight on AEW Dark by posting a tweet showcasing a match between Martin, who is know know as “Marty Casaus,” and “The Machine” Brian Cage. Bring back any memories?

The Ringside View: We are excited to see what Marty Casaus can do after recovering from such a substantial injury. Will we see any remnants of his injury poke through his match tonight with “The Machine” or will he pull off the fearless moves he once did during his time at Lucha Underground? It will be interesting to see if we see a hint of “The Moth” in his performance or if we see a whole new side of him. Questions that will soon be answered tonight at 7/ 6c on AEW Dark on TNT.
