WWE is getting ready to hold a draft in August and is looking for some big time superstars from NXT that are ready for the main roster. Karrion Kross, Scarlett and Bronson Reed are apparently on that list.
NXT Champion Kross, Scarlett and NXT North American Champion Reed were all backstage at SmackDown tonight.
According to PW Insider, WWE wanted to see what they could do in the ring on the main roster, so a trial match was arranged between the two top NXT Champions before the show.
We’ll have to wait and see what they thought of Kross and Reed up close, but it’s definitely a great sign for both of them.
