Eddie Kingston and CM Punk fought tooth and nail till the final bell in a match that was a long time coming. However, despite an impressive showing by the ‘Mad King’ it was Punk who walked out bloody, but victorious.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster according to one source that Eddie Kingston suffered a shoulder injury at Full Gear. Kingston reportedly had medical tests done earlier this morning to determine the severity of the injury, which caused him to miss a scheduled appearance in NY.
It’s certainly unfortunate timing for Kingston who is arguably on the hottest roll of his career right now. The fans at Full Gear were at time firmly in his corner, which says a lot when you’re facing another star like Punk.
