Bobby Lashley is doing some of the best work of his career in WWE currently at 44 years old. He is also challenging The Miz on RAW tonight got the WWE Championship.
Lashley is known for keeping in amazing shape and is one of the most powerful wrestlers of all time. While speaking with Bleacher Report recently Bobby Lashley spoke about when he plans to retire from the ring. He’s accomplished a lot in his career, but there’s still a lot he wants to do before he hangs up his boots in the next few years.
“I know with my career that’s it’s not going to be a thing where I have 10,15, 20 more years. Some of these guys do, so mine is kind of a sprint right now. I don’t mind that. I don’t mind ramping it up a little bit because, like I said, I don’t have 10 to 15 more years. I have a few more years left. There’s a lot of goals I want to accomplish, so I have to go hard. My body’s been able to take the abuse I’ve given it, and I knew I could keep going, so I knew it was my time.”
Bobby Lashley doesn’t have any plans to slow down in the ring just yet. There’s still a lot he wants to accomplish before that time comes. He has his possibly his biggest opportunity tonight against The Miz for the WWE Championship. We’ll have to see if he can capture the gold, but there’s a lot of dominant years left in the WWE career of Bobby Lashley.
