While speaking to Sky Sports, Bobby Lashley revealed that he wants to go back to MMA for a few more fights. He is currently under WWE contract, but he said that time is running out. Word is that we might see him take off after SummerSlam.
When Lashley returned to WWE after several years away he did so with much anticipation. Upon coming back however it seemed as though WWE wasn’t sure of how to use him.
Only recently did Lashley really start hitting his stride and there are certainly a ton of matches fans would want to see before he departs namely one with Brock Lesnar. Lashley has also expressed interest in that match.
At 42 years of age, it would not be surprising to see Lashley wrap up his MMA career and then his WWE career in the next few years so hopefully we get to see that match before he hangs it up.
