Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin were putting on one heck of a match when the time expired. It ended in a draw, but the action didn’t stop. From out of nowhere it seems, Shawn Spears is in the ring and delivers one of the ugliest chair shots I’ve seen in years.
The shot was unprotected, which is going to bring up some controversial topics for a little while. With what we know about concussions, it seems this chair shot may be ill advised.
Kudos for Cody for wanting to make Fyter Fest a great show and pull out all the stops, but that was one move that shouldn’t have taken place.
For those of you who haven’t seen it, or any of Fyter Fest, I suggest you do. The show was great, but that chair shot was almost disgusting to see.
