Kyle O’ Reilly perhaps best known for his time in Undisputed Era with Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong, may have very well had his last match in NXT last Tuesday when Von Wagner beat him in a steel cage match. O ‘Reilly’s contract reportedly expired last week and he is now a free agent.
After NXT on Tuesday Kyle O’ Reilly, Johnny Gargano, who’s contract also recently expired and Tommaso Ciampa all shared a teary eyed goodbye in the ring together.

O’ Reilly also posted a special message for fans on social media.
Truly overwhelmed by all the love and heartfelt messages. By no means does this mean goodbye… just smell ya later. pic.twitter.com/w8xHVxkHKG

There’s been a lot of speculation that O’ Reilly could be making his way to AEW soon to reunite with his former fellow Undisputed Era members, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish.
Adam Cole recently shed some light on the situation and how much he knows about O’ Reilly possibly coming in while at uC2E2.
“This is the honest to god truth, I have no idea what Kyle is going to do. I really don’t. I’m not sure he even knows what he’s going to do. But the idea of getting to reunite with Kyle as well as Bobby (Fish), hell yeah I would love that. Hell yeah I would, absolutely.”
Kyle O’ Reilly is one of the top wrestlers in the world and any promotion would be better for opening their doors to him. His path to AEW makes too much sense with Adam Cole and Bobby Fish there, but we’ll have to see how things turn out.
