WWE NXT Results 6/8/21

The following are the WWE NXT Results 6/8/21

Oney Lorcan defeats Austin Theory.

A vignette is shown for LA Knight. He’s in a big house in a hot-tub with a bunch of women. Knight talks about how Ted DiBiase should pick him as the new Million Dollar Man and not Cameron Grimes.

Legado Del Fantasma comes out and calls out Bronson Reed. Reed comes out and makes fun of how he squashed Santos Escobar last week. Before Reed can get in the ring MSK comes out and they have a stare down. The teams then lay down a challenge for NXT Takeover: In Your House. A winners take all match for the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championships. William Regal makes the match official for the event.

Isiah Swerve Scott defeats Killian Dain.

A vignette is shown for Cameron Grimes talking about why he should be the next Million Dollar man as he drives around in a Bentley.

Mercedes Martinez picks up a quick win over an Cora Jade in a squash match. Before the match Xia Li attacks her from behind.

Poppy goes to William Regal’s office and Triple H is there. She reveals that she just dropped five new songs for WWE NXT. Dexter Lumis shows up and gives her and drawing and Poppy hugs him. That’s when Indi Hartwell walks in and sees this going down before she leaves crying.

LA Knight shows up to NXT in his Mercedes and Cameron Grimes shows up in his Rolls Royce. Ted DiBiase reveals the Million Dollar Championship and announces that at NXT: TakeOver In Your House, LA Knight and Cameron Grimes will battle in a ladder match to determine who will be the new Million Dollar Man and the new Million Dollar Champion.

The Grizzled Young Veterans defeat August Grey and Ikemen Jiro. During the match Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher come out with steels chairs to watch. GYV then challenges them to a tornado tag team match next week afterwards and they accept.

Candice LeRae comes out to the ring. She blames Poppy for stealing the spotlight from her last week and upsetting Indi Hartwell tonight and stealing Dexter Lumis, making her leave the arena. Poppy comes out and says she doesn’t wrestle, but she knows someone who does. Io Shirai then returns and takes out Candice LeRae!

Ember Moon defeats Dakota Kai via DQ. During the match Raquel Gonzalez interferes and tries to take out Moon, but she winds up getting laid out with the eclipse.

Karrion Kross, Kyle O’ Reilly, Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano come to the ring to confront each other before their Fatal 5-Way NXT Championship match at NXT: TakeOver In Your House. Adam Cole appears on the screen and says he’s not showing up after embarrassing them last week, but that he’ll see them Sunday. They all start to brawl and Karrion Kross is left standing until Adam Cole attacks him from behind, hits the Last Shot and stands tall over Kross holding the NXT Championship.
