AEW Double Or Nothing is coming up on May 30th and the card is already pretty stacked for the event.
One of the biggest matches set to take place is arguably Hikaru Shida Vs Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s Championship. It’s a match that’s been a long time coming, but fans will finally get to see it go down at Double Or Nothing.
We’ve been told at The Ringside Roster via one source that a big title change is planned at this time with Britt Baker walking away as the new AEW Women’s Champion.
As always it’s possible that plans could change between now and Double Or Nothing, but that’s the current situation.
Hikaru Shida has been a great champion especially through the pandemic and has taken on all challengers, but the company might feel like it’s time for a change.
We’ll have to see how things play out in just a few weeks, but the match itself between Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker should be fantastic overall.
