** AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS 5/12/21 **
- Yuji Nagata vs Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Heavy Weight Championship: Jon Moxley defeats Yuji Nagata. Rocky Romero from NJPW was shown to be cheering Nagata in the crowd during the match. At the end of the match, Jon Moxley and Yuji Nagata bow down to each other in respect.
- Inner Circle talk about their match at Blood & Guts and demand a rematch to honor Jericho and Santana. Santana is said to be arrested due to having stabbed MJF with a fork. Chris Jericho is said to have a dislocated shoulder due to being pushed off the cage at Blood & Guts by MJF.
- Cody Rhodes announces, for one night, it will be Anthony Ogogo vs “The American Dream” Cody Rhodes at Double or Nothing.
- SCU vs The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks defeat SCU causing SCU to disband as a tag team. Christopher Daniels suffers an injury to the head causing major bleeding on the outside of the ring and during the match. During the match, Doc Gallows distracts the referee causing The Young Bucks to be able to recover and stay in the match. Before hitting Christopher Daniels with a super kick, Matt yelled that he was sorry and that he loved Daniels *like HBK and Flair* . The Young Bucks used “cold spray” and spray Daniels in the face.
- Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston destroy the locker room of the Elite.
- Christian Cage was given an open contract by Tony Khan and challenges Taz to send any member of Team Taz to fight him next week. He continues to talk about the Casino Battle Royal at Double or Nothing and how he is “pushing all his chips on the table” to win the opportunity to challenge for a title match any time he wants. Matt Sydal confronts Cage and tells him not to worry about Team Taz because he signed the open contract. Next week on AEW Dynamite, Matt Sydal vs Christian Cage.
- PAC vs Orange Cassidy in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match: The match ends with a double count out. Tony Schiavone announces that at Double or Nothing Kenny Omega will face PAC and Orange Cassidy in a triple threat match! During the match, Don Callis comes out and demands that PAC get this match going because Kenny Omega is a busy man and they need to know who the winner is. Kenny Omega comes from behind and hits PAC with the title.
- The Elite were upset that Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston destroyed their locker room. The Young Bucks challenge the Varsity Blondes to a match next week. The Young Bucks challenge Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley at Double or Nothing.
- “Hangman” Adam Page and the Dark Order talk about Adam’s loss to Brian Cage. Adam Page challenges Brian Cage to a rematch at Double or Nothing.
- At the Pinnacle celebration, MJF brags about beating Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle. MJF calls himself the “greatest of all time.” MJF declines the rematch with the Inner Circle. Tully Blanchard bought the Pinnacle all watches. The Inner Circle interrupts and Jericho makes his appearance. Jericho asks the Pinnacle if they are going to accept the rematch. When MJF says no and Sammy sprays them with a water hose. MJF accepts the rematch to a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. If the Inner Circle loses, they have to disband.
- Jim Ross interviews Dr. Britt Baker DDM and talks about when Shida broke her nose. Dr. Britt Baker guarantees that she will be the champion after their match at Double or Nothing.
- Thunder Rosa vs Jazmin Allure: Thunder Rosa defeats Jazmin Allure via pin fall.
- During an interview with Tony Schiavone, Jade Cargill states that she is listening to the offers to manage her but she is her own boss because she is “that b***h!”
- Darby Allin vs Miro for the TNT Championship: Miro defeats Darby Allin via submission. During a new vignette, before the match, Darby talks about how he does not have time to think about when he was thrown down the stairs by Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page and how he went back to Seattle to remind himself of who he is/ how far he has come. Darby confronts Miro and states that he is one of the toughest men Miro has ever stepped in the ring with. Before the match has officially started, Miro attacks Darby Allin. Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky are shown in the audience laughing. Ethan Page distracts Sting and Scorpio Sky attacks Sting from behind. Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page attack Sting. The Dark Order come to Sting’s defense. Lance Archer comes out and confronts Miro for the title.
