Matt Sydal or Evan Bourne as some may know him from his time in WWE made his AEW debut tonight in the All Out Buy-In Battle Royal.
Unfortunately for Sydal he started out in rough fashion with a scary botch on the shooting star press where he landed on his neck.
Thankfully he appears to be ok and finished the match before being eliminated.
Several people in the industry and fans reacted on social media such as Twitter including former WWE announcer Todd Grisham.
It was definitely a tough way to make his debut but we’re glad he’s ok.
