Roman Reigns is currently the Tribal Chief and Universal Champion on SmackDown.
He’s also having what very well may be his best run yet with the addition of Paul Heyman by his side, and now his cousin Jey Uso. At WWE Survivor Series he’ll clash with The Viper, Randy Orton to decide who’s the dominant World Champion between RAW and SmackDown.
That goes down on 11/22. Last week on SmackDown though we saw Jey Uso take on Daniel Bryan and defeat him to become a member of the SmackDown Survivor Series team. Uso would then pay tribute to “The Tribal Chief” by attacking Bryan after the match and aligning with Roman Reigns.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster that WWE was actually planting the seeds for a clash between Roman Reigns and Bryan. The leader of the “Yes” movement will reportedly be next in line for a shot at the Universal Championship.
A lot of that has to do with the fact that the company doesn’t think anyone else is ready on the blue brand, still it should be a great match. We should see more build up toward things tonight on SmackDown.
