The ongoing saga involving WWE and Andrade has officially come to an end just a few hours after Fastlane.
The company recently announced via their website that they have officially released Andrade. Andrade actually requested his release about a week or so ago, but it looks like it was finally granted. This comes after months of Andrade not appearing on WWE TV. Vince McMahon reportedly soured on the former United States Champion after he was suspended for 30 days for violating the WWE wellness policy. After that he also no longer had protection once Paul Heyman was removed as the head of RAW creative who was behind Andrade’s most recent push.
Andrade took to Twitter earlier this evening to tease some good news so it doesn’t appear he’s too broken up about it.
Andrade is still a talented star as well as the fiancée of Charlotte Flair. He should have no shortage of work going forward, but for now his time in WWE is done.
