With the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing and the recent rise in cases due to new variants including the Delta, it’s made things difficult for WWE who has been back on the road running live shows since July.

More states are starting to issue mask mandates once again and large gatherings are starting to be limited as well. WWE is currently in the process of preparing for things one way or another as there’s a possibility they may have to go back to the ThunderDome at some point. However, right now all eyes are locked in on SummerSlam coming up this weekend.

SummerSlam’s location, Clark County, Nevada, has a mask mandate at this time. That means that all fans need to be masked up at the event. However, they won’t be the only ones.

WWE has now reportedly issued a mask mandate to all superstars. Masks are to be worn at all times except for when they are eating and drinking. The company is also requiring a negative test for all staff and talent before each event.

At this time vaccines have not been mandated by the company, but everyone is expected to mask up to help stay safe. There have been several outbreaks in the past and they are trying to crack down on things so they can hopefully remain on the road.
