Despite the controversial things that have happened in the past with WWE making trips to Saudi Arabia for shows the company signed a 10-year deal, thus they will be heading back in 2021 when things are deemed ok to do so.
Up until this point, there wasn’t a set date, but it appears that WWE now has one in mind for this year.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast recently stated that he heard October is the month for WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia. The next show is expected to take place on Thursday, October 21st as long as there are no restrictions that would conflict with that at the time.
We’ll have to see what stars head over there when the time comes, as some might be too willing after the last trip, but the deal is in place and it’s too much money for the company to pass up.
