The 2021 WWE Royal Rumble was certainly a memorable event with lots of surprises throughout the night.
One of the biggest ones however may have been the return of the cool one himself Carlito. Not only was it great to see him, but he looked better than ever. We previously reported at The Ringside Roster today prior to the Royal Rumble that Carlito was scheduled to return for the match. We now also have an update on plans for him going forward.
According to PWInsider Carlito is scheduled to interview tomorrow for a WWE backstage producer role. There’s no word at this time on if the company will continue to use him as a superstar in the ring, but judging from the reaction his return got there’s a good chance that could happen.
We’ll have to see what happens, but either way it’s certainly cool to have Carlito back in WWE.
