Last night at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, Cesaro gave everything he had and then some in an effort to win the Universal Championship.
Unfortunately, the efforts of Cesaro were not enough and Roman Reigns walked out still the champion and The Head Of The Table after he passed out due to a guillotine choke. After the match Seth Rollins viciously attacked the Swiss Superman with a steel chair. He’s a little banged up, but seems to be doing alright otherwise.
He took to social media today to post the following message.
So close

Roman Reigns was quick to respond though.

Fans hoping to see the talented Superstar get another shot at the Universal Championship again right away may be a bit disappointed.
We’ve learned at The Ringside Roster according to one source that WWE is currently not planning a Cesaro Vs Roman Reigns rematch at this time.
That doesn’t mean it can’t happen down the line or possibly if there’s a high enough demand from the fans which causes WWE to re-think things as we’ve seen in the past with stars like Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston.
WWE’s next upcoming PPV is Hell In A Cell on June 20th. We’ll have to see what they have planned for the show, but we’ll keep you updated on all the latest here.
