The Rock is a WWE Legend, Hollywood icon and one of the biggest, most popular and captivating mainstream stars of all time in general.
As one of the busiest stars in Hollywood, The Rock currently doesn’t get a lot of free time. His movies such as Jungle Cruise and the upcoming Black Adam have kept him constantly busy, but that doesn’t stop WWE fans from wanting him back to the ring.
The Rock was recently interviewed about the possibility of facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. The Great One gave a very straightforward response about the situation, although it may not be exactly what some hoped to hear.
“I can tell you, there is no truth to that right now. Possibly down the road, we will see. We stay very close, myself and Roman Reigns, and I’m very happy and very proud with the work he is doing as well as The Usos, my other family members. Those guys will continue to do what they’re doing and we’ll see down the road.”
Well…there you have it from the man himself. We won’t be getting Rock Vs Reigns…right now at least.
We previously reported at The Ringside Roster that WWE was heavily interested in having The Rock Vs Reigns headline WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. While some fans may have gotten their hopes up for a match a bit sooner, having the match go down in LA seems like the perfect fit and one worth waiting for in our opinion.
