Last night during AEW Dynamite, Winter Is Coming tensions boiled over in the Inner Circle after Chris Jericho’s victory over Frankie Kazarian.
During the match MJF attempted to throw in the towel for Jericho only to be stopped by Sammy Guevara. Jericho would go on to win the match, but from his view it appeared that Guevara actually tried throwing in the towel.
This lead to a shoving match between the two before Jericho intervened. He stated that he was tired of the arguing and that if the Inner Circle couldn’t all get on the same page by next week they would disband forever. Clearly there are some big issues for one of AEW’s biggest groups.
When it comes to them disbanding though we’ve learned at The Ringside Roster, that is not expected to happen at this time. Currently the plan is for Sammy Guevara to turn babyface, which is something that’s been in the works for a bit. We’ll have to see how it plays out next week, but don’t get rid of the bubbly just yet.
