Adding more to the Lio Rush situation, we are told he was actually offered a five-year contract reportedly worth $300,000.
However, he turned it down while asking for double that number. That is pretty big move but Rush obviously feels he’s worth it.
It was also noted that Lio Rush has told WWE to let him out of his WWE contract. He wants to show WWE what he is capable of outside the company.
WWE had interest in sending Rush to NXT or 205 Live however Rush feels as though he’s a main event star and should be used as such. If the two sides can’t work something out it might not be long before Rush is out of the WWE altogether. We’ll have more on this story if and when information becomes available.
